The Draper Venom Double Ground Laminate Hand Saw is a specialist cutting tool designed for precision work on laminate flooring, formica and beading. Engineered with a 500mm blade manufactured from high-quality 1mm thick 65Mn carbon steel, this saw delivers the durability and accuracy required for professional flooring installations and trim work. The blade undergoes a comprehensive heat treatment process, being correctly hardened, tempered, straightened and stress relieved to ensure optimal strength and straightness throughout its working life. The forward-cutting tooth configuration, with 13 teeth per inch, is specifically designed to deliver faster cutting action whilst maximising sawdust removal from the cut line for improved visibility and cleaner results. Surface treatment includes a finely ground finish coated with ultra-tough lacquer, providing corrosion protection whilst reducing friction during sawing for smoother, more efficient cutting action. The ergonomic soft-grip handle ensures user comfort even during prolonged periods of use, making it particularly suitable for larger flooring projects where extended sawing sessions are required.
