The Draper Ergo Plus VDE Insulated Screwdriver Set is a professional-grade interchangeable screwdriver system designed for electrical installation and maintenance work. Part of Draper's XP1000® Expert range, this comprehensive set features VDE-certified insulated handles and blades suitable for working on live circuits up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. Each blade in this set features a slimline insulated sheath that matches the diameter of the screwdriver tip, enabling access to deep-seated screws commonly found in terminals, switchboards and electrical enclosures. The two-piece moulded construction ensures blades fit deep into the handle, eliminating flashover risks during electrical work. Individual testing to 10,000V provides additional safety assurance for electricians and electrical contractors. The ergonomic bi-material handle design allows the tool to spin freely in your palm for rapid screw tightening, whilst still delivering effective torque transfer when needed. Flat sides prevent the screwdrivers from rolling on work surfaces, and the soft-grip surface ensures comfortable handling during extended use. This interchangeable system includes both standard and precision handles, offering complete versatility for different applications. The blades are manufactured from SVCM steel for enhanced strength and durability, featuring a press-in auto-lock mechanism with simple release for quick blade changes. The complete set is supplied in a canvas storage roll for secure transportation between job sites.
