The Draper BBS450A is a 450W oscillating spindle sander designed for precision sanding of curved and intricate workpieces. This bobbin sander features a 58 oscillations per minute mechanism with 16mm travel, ensuring consistent material removal whilst minimising burn marks on timber. The generous 370 x 290mm working table provides stable support for a wide range of project sizes. Ideal for cabinet makers, joiners and furniture workshops, this machine excels at smoothing curved edges, creating perfect profiles, and finishing intricate scrollwork that would be difficult to achieve with conventional sanding methods. The oscillating action extends abrasive life whilst delivering superior surface finishes on both hardwoods and softwoods. Supplied complete with five bobbin drums ranging from 12.7mm to 76.2mm diameter, six matching sanding sleeves, and six plastic table inserts to support workpieces at each drum size. The integral dust extraction facility connects to workshop vacuum systems, maintaining a cleaner working environment and improving visibility during operation.
